This policy explains what personal information Timeless Transport collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Who we are
Timeless Transport is a vehicle transport and recovery business operated by Kyle Pike as a sole trader, based in West Sussex. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Kyle Pike, trading as Timeless Transport is the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect
When you fill in the enquiry form on this website, we collect your name, your phone number, your email address, and whatever you tell us about the vehicle and the journey.
When you call, send a WhatsApp message or email us, we collect whatever you choose to tell us, which usually includes your name, your contact details, the vehicle, and the collection and delivery addresses.
If you go on to book a move, we will also hold details of the vehicle, the addresses involved, the dates, and a record of the job including the photographs we take at collection and delivery.
We do not currently run analytics or tracking on this website, and it does not build a profile of you as you browse.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
We use your information to quote for your job, to arrange and carry out the move, to contact you about it, and to keep proper business records afterwards.
Where you have asked us for a quote or booked a move, our lawful basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then to perform that contract. Where we keep records for accounting, insurance or in case of a dispute, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the business properly and being able to defend a claim, and in some cases a legal obligation.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
We share it only where we need to, which in practice means:
- our insurer, if there is a claim or an incident
- a recovery or transport partner, if a job genuinely requires one, and only the details they need to do it
- our accountant, for business records
- the companies that provide the technology behind the website, our email and our messaging, who process the information on our behalf under contract
We will also disclose information where the law requires it.
Where it is held
The website is hosted by Hostinger. Our email and messaging are provided by third parties who hold data on our behalf. Some of these providers may store or process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into a booking are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted.
Records of completed jobs, including the collection and delivery photographs, are kept for six years from the end of the job. This is so we can deal with any claim, insurance question or tax enquiry that arises afterwards.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete it, to ask us to restrict how we use it, to object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests, and to ask for it in a portable format.

Cookies
This website does not currently set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookies it may use are the ones needed to make the site function, for example to process the enquiry form.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
If we add analytics in future we will update this page before we switch it on, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator for data protection. Their website is ico.org.uk and their helpline is 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
