If your vehicle is rare, freshly restored or you want it out of sight for the journey, enclosed transport adds full protection from the weather and prying eyes, for vehicles up to 2.3 tonnes. What is open vehicle transport?
Open transport carries your vehicle on an open trailer, in our case a Brian James T6. It is the more economical option for most moves and uses the same careful loading and strapping as our enclosed service.
Is my car insured while it is on the trailer?
Yes. Timeless Transport is fully insured, for vehicles up to 2.8 tonnes on the open trailer, and every vehicle is strapped and checked before we set off. We photograph it at collection and again at delivery so its condition is recorded at both ends.
Can you move a car that does not start?
Yes. Non-runners are winched onto the trailer gently and secured in the same way as any other vehicle. Let us know when you book so we allow the time to load it properly.
How far will you transport a car?
We are based in West Sussex and cover the whole of the UK, from single local moves to long-distance deliveries.
