What is enclosed vehicle transport?
Enclosed transport moves your vehicle inside a fully covered trailer rather than on an open one. It protects the car from weather, stone chips and road grime, and keeps it away from prying eyes for the whole journey.
When should I choose enclosed rather than open transport?
Enclosed is the right choice for classics, prestige and performance cars, fresh restorations, and any vehicle where privacy matters. For most everyday moves, our open transport on the Brian James T6 is the more economical option.
Can I see where my car is during the journey?
Yes. Live GPS tracking runs on every job, enclosed or open, so you can know exactly where your vehicle is between collection and delivery. We also photograph the vehicle at collection and again at delivery, so you have a record of its condition at both ends.
What vehicles can you carry in the enclosed trailer?
The enclosed trailer carries vehicles up to 2.3 tonnes, which covers most classics, sports cars and prestige saloons. Heavier vehicles, up to 2.8 tonnes, travel on the open trailer. If you are not sure, call 01403 458457 and we will confirm before you book.
